Full-Scale Broadcast Production & National Commercial Campaigns

When "This Old House"—the gold standard of American home renovation TV—needed a production partner to bring the 'Cottage Community' series to life, they turned to Impact Studios. In collaboration with Shake The Tree Productions, we provided the creative and technical backbone for the entire series, from the first frame of principal photography to the final delivery of national broadcast masters.

The Mission:

Impact Studios was responsible for every part of this project. Working on Greyrock Homes' busy, construction site, we captured the work of the master builders with cinematic detail. Beyond the TV series, our team also created over a dozen national commercials, making sure the footage reached the widest possible audience.

 

Technical Achievement Highlights:

  • Full Series Production: We provided all the crew, broadcast cameras, and editing services for the complete series.
  • National Commercials: We created 12 national TV ads that are currently airing on networks like PBS, Roku, Peacock, and Amazon Prime.
  • Expert Cinematography: We captured complex aerial shots and filmed from platforms 30 feet in the air to show the build from every angle.
  • Seamless Partnership: We worked closely with the show’s producer, Toni D’Antonio  to meet the high standards of a TV show that has been on the air since 1979.
