I founded Impact Studios in Norwalk, CT in 1995 with a specific belief: that great video production is about problem-solving as much as it is about gear. Thirty years later, that belief still runs everything we do. What started as a small local operation now works with clients like Pepsi, Dannon, Pernod Ricard, Playtex, Schick, Chivas, and Absolut — producing everything from national broadcast content to global live-streamed corporate events to 3D product visualization.
My own work covers the full production spectrum. I started behind the camera and in 1" reel to reel NYC edit suites at 19 years of age, and that grounding still shapes how I lead. I studied at Iona University before training at Softimage's Montreal facility on their industry-leading 3D animation platform — software that ran exclusively on SGI Unix workstations and cost over $100,000 in the 1990's. That foundation still informs the product visualization and motion graphics work we do today.
I've served as Director of Photography and Video Editor on the "This Old House Cottage Community" series (which aired on PBS, Roku, Peacock, and Amazon Prime), as Executive Producer and Editor on the documentary "Vietnam... through my lens" (2022), and as Executive Producer, Director and Editor on the stand-up special "The Amusing World of Joe Gorga: Live From the Jersey Shore" (2022), which now streams on Tubi, Amazon Prime, Plex, and Fawesome. I was also a producer on "Paper Clips Educational Version" (2004), the acclaimed documentary on Holocaust education.
Along the way, I've earned multiple Telly Awards for commercial and corporate production work, and was part of the production team that won numerous Emmy Awards for broadcasts with the New York Football Giants.
Beyond credited projects, I've spent two decades directing corporate events, producing live streaming for global town halls — and running principal photography and post-production on national commercial campaigns for major brand clients.
I'm not a founder who's stepped back from the craft. I still direct on set. I still edit deliverables when a project calls for it. I still run the switcher at high-stakes live events. If your project is with Impact Studios, you can be confident I will be there.
