Do I need a special license to hire you for drone videography?
No. You do not need your own drone license. Impact Studios TV is fully certified with a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and carries the required insurance. We handle all licensing, compliance, and safety requirements so you don’t have to.
Can you fly in restricted or complex airspace?
Yes. We regularly obtain LAANC authorizations, waivers, and COAs when needed. We handle all the paperwork so you don’t have to.
How close can you fly to buildings or people?
We follow strict FAA safety rules. We can fly close when properly authorized and safe to do so, but many shots can be achieved beautifully from a legal distance. We always prioritize safety and compliance.
Do you provide edited video or just raw footage?
We can provide fully edited, color-corrected, and professionally delivered video files ready for your use. You can choose from highlight reels, full-length videos, or both. If we are just shooting a single scene, we are happy to provide all raw footage for your editor to work from directly.
How far in advance should I book a drone shoot? We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance for standard projects. For time-sensitive or complex shoots, the earlier the better so we can secure any necessary authorizations.
Are you fully insured for commercial drone work? Yes. We carry comprehensive commercial drone insurance, including liability coverage specifically for aerial videography.
What weather conditions do you need to fly? We need good visibility, light to moderate winds, and no precipitation. We always check weather forecasts and will reschedule if conditions are unsafe.
